Welcome to my website! I'm continuously earning new awards and traveling new places, so please check back often to see what I've been up to.
I have been interested in travel for as long as I can remember. I believe I was a traveler long before I ever packed a suitcase and closed the door behind me. As a teenager, I stood at my bedroom window and wondered what was beyond the beautiful hills of Western Pennsylvania. I love seeing new places, observing and learning of new cultures, eating regional/national foods, and sharing it by writing about it.
My travel and history pieces have appeared in more than 85 publications.
I have a B.A. in English from San Francisco State University, completed all courses for a master's in Broadcast Communication Arts from SFSU, and have a certificate in Technical Communication from San Jose State University.
I travel as much as possible but vow that one of these days I'll stay home long enough to clean my office so that I'll actually be able to find things.
